While natural disasters capture headlines and national attention short-term, the work of recovery and rebuilding is long-term.
Government of India has announced that more than 250 people lost their lives and thousands of people lost everything except lives in the flood. Out of these situations always arise stories of ordinary people doing extraordinary things. As Aalayam community, we always volunteer ourself for such things.
Our volunteer has visited the flood affected areas in cuddalore and surveyed the current needs of children’s & their families to recover from this disaster. We would be helping by donating their current needs like foods, dresses, medicines, etc.. and helping them to recover faster.
As always 100% of your donation will be given to the affected people, as a donor you will receive the complete details & receipts of each rupee we spend. For some reason if the raised funds cannot be utlized for the affected people then it will be utlized for upcoming educational cause.
We want to make every single contribution more meaningful!
Our heart goes out to victims and survivors of the flood and to their families. This disaster will go down in history books as one of the largest natural disasters in Tamil Nadu.
